Wallace Food Bank responds during COVID19 - Silver Valley News
The Wallace Food Bank is doing their part during this COVID19 period.
Two times a month, food is distributed to residents in Mullan, Wallace, and Osburn. The first Thursday of the month, distributions take place from 3-5 PM at the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Osburn, and the third Thursday of the month at the Methodist Church in Wallace, from 3-5 PM.
The food bag includes items like vegetables, fruit, soup, dried pasta, chili, and macaroni & cheese. Food vouchers to Steins and Harvest Foods are also included.
Donations are accepted and according to organizers, Nick Hoffman and Art Fleming, the best way to do so is to purchase pre-packaged food bags available at Steins and Harvest Foods.
Donating through the stores helps reduce the handling of items. For information on donating please call (208) 448-8858.
Deliveries can also be made.
